How to use NatraSweet by NatraTurf

Thanks for your interest in our all natural, organic lawn and garden products. Here we'll tell you more about NatraSweet and how to use the product on your lawn or garden.

NatraSweet corrects soil pH. Sweet soils help create better, more lush lawns and gardens.  NatraSweet also helps release natural soil elements like phosphorus, zinc and copper. And, NatraSweet is organic, safe and listed by OMRI. Here are some tips on how to use NatraSweet.

  • We recommend a simple soil test to check your pH.
  • NatraSweet adjusts the soil pH. Soils with a pH over 7 tend to be alkaline while soils under 6 are termed acidic.
  • The "sweet spot" for vigorous growth of a health lawn is between 6 and 7. If you soil has a low pH, NatraSweet can help get you back into the "sweet spot."
  • Pour NatraSweet into your dry spreader and set the rate according to the directions on the back of the NatraSweet bag.
  • Spread NatraSweet on your lawn at a rate of 10lbs per 1,000 square feet.
  • On your garden, use the same ratio, and spread with a hand broadcast spreader.
  • NatraSweet is made from some of the most pure limestone on the planet. It goes to work quickly following a rain or watering for several minutes.

NatraSweet is easy to use and good for your soil. Check the back of the bag for more detailed directions. Thanks for coming by!
